San Diego Zoo

The zoo was way awesome! The kids got to see some really great animals.

The weather was perfect and most of the animals were out and about!

It was totally awesome!

Pre-Season Chargers Game

The kids enjoyed a pre-season Chargers game. We sat a few rows up on the 50 yard line.

They liked being able to see all the players. They even got to meet Vincent Jackson & Legadu Naanee after the game and got an autograph from them.

Seaworld

Seaworld was pretty awesome too. The kids enjoyed the Shamu show (even though we sat in the splash zone and didn't even get wet!)

Disneyland!

We finally took a family vacation! We started by driving from IF to Vegas and spending the night. Our next destination was Anaheim and Disneyland. From Disneyland we went to San Diego and then back to Vegas. Finally 11 days later we were home. It was an exhausting trip, but the kids did fantastic.

Disneyland was way cool. The kids enjoyed meeting all of their characters and watching the parades. Damien was pretty bummed that Wall-E wasn't there. Aspen got a touch of heat-exhaustion, but once we got her one of those $20 water spray bottles with a fan on it, everyone was able to enjoy themselves. One of the highlights was Damien going through Jedi training and Aspen braving some of the big rides.

Overall, the trip was a success and in a few years when everyone is bigger we will be going back (however not in August).
