Today was the first day of school! Both kids were so excited they actually woke up on time. Aspen is starting 3rd grade and has her best friend Kayci in her class. JC is also in her class. They are all great friends. Her teacher may have her hands full :) Aspen found Gabby and Kenley and gave them hugs. She is really looking forward to learning cursive this year.
Damien is starting Kindergarten. It's crazy how time flies! It seems like he was just a baby. He was so brave today. He wanted us to wait behind him so he could walk in by himself. He found his hook and got into line to go into his classroom. He played with Playdough while we filled out some paperwork and he was perfectly happy to see us leave. Damien is really looking forward to recess and eating lunch at school.
