1st day of school!

Today was the first day of school! Both kids were so excited they actually woke up on time. Aspen is starting 3rd grade and has her best friend Kayci in her class. JC is also in her class. They are all great friends. Her teacher may have her hands full :) Aspen found Gabby and Kenley and gave them hugs. She is really looking forward to learning cursive this year.

Damien is starting Kindergarten. It's crazy how time flies! It seems like he was just a baby. He was so brave today. He wanted us to wait behind him so he could walk in by himself. He found his hook and got into line to go into his classroom. He played with Playdough while we filled out some paperwork and he was perfectly happy to see us leave. Damien is really looking forward to recess and eating lunch at school.

World Superbike at Miller was fantastic! Way to go Ben Spies. Way to end the weekend with a double win to creep up on Haga! The racing was fantastic.

Tomorrow we head to Salt Lake for World Superbike!

American Idol

So Adam didn't win. What a disappointment! The good news is Danny Gokey didn't win either. Way to go Kris! I think that not winning Idol is better for Adam's career in the long run so he's not tied to some crazy contract giving Idol control over the music he chooses!

HDR Class

I took an HDR class Saturday! I still have soooo much to learn!

Damien Graduated Pre-School

Damien graduated from pre-school on Saturday. He did a fantastic job and was very brave! We are soooo proud of him.

O.K. So I'm happy! Adam or Kris is fine with me. I'm just glad Gokey is gone! However, I still hope Adam wins (even though I think he'd make a better album if he didn't become the American Idol).

Mother's Day Gift

So for Mother's Day, the kids got me some beautiful flowers to plant and an outfit from Aeropostale. YES! Jason not only braved the mall with the kids, he went shopping at Aeropostale. Maybe he'll get brave enough to go to Hollister next (Doubt It). Now, after spending the afternoon cleaning, he's making Lasagna! YUMMY! It has been a great Mother's Day!

The Greatest Gift

I just got the greatest gift from my graduating seniors! They framed a fantastic group photo, gave me a gift card for dinner at the Outback, and best of all gave me a big jar of peanut butter. However, the best part of the entire thing was the card that thanked me for what I taught them! WOW! What a special group of ducklings--I've taught them all I know and now I get to send them out in the world! I'm sure you'll make me proud guys!
